The San Diego Chargers are at Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers 3 ½ point favorites and the over under coming in at 42 ½. San Diego must win here or they will be eliminated from the playoffs. Tampa Bay offense has not been very impressive over the past few weeks and their only outbursts have been against Detroit and Kansas City in recent weeks. Behind Phillip Rivers the Chargers will be competitive here. Tease San Diego 7 points to +10 ½.

The NY Jets are at Seattle as 4 ½ point favorites. The Jets have played poorly on the west coast with straight up losses at San Diego, San Francisco and Oakland of all teams. Seattle will play inspired ball here at home in the final home game for head coach Mike Holmgren. Seattle has ran the ball well behind Julius Jones and Maurice Morris and should have success against the Jets who are suddenly struggling on defense. Rookie tight end John Carlson has been a target for Seneca Wallace in the passing game and has come up with 19 catches over the past 3 games averaging well over 10 yards per reception. The Seattle crowd will be up here and Bret Favre and the Jets will find it difficult on offense in the nosiest stadium in the NFL. Tease Seattle 7 points to +11 ½.
