Gecko in my uncle's gardenhouse in Thailand

Some big salamander thingy hiding in my uncle's garden house in Korat, Thailand.

Edit: so this is gecko not a salamander, I kinda suck in biology :)

lol, you are not mean at all, I have no idea what is was, so thanks for info:) My uncle simply said "there is some kind of reptile in the barn, go have a look". No idea what is was :)

Salamanders dont scale walls, thats either a lizard with a huge head, or a gecko, I think it's a gecko, nice video though!

What you have there is a Tokay. 2nd largest of Thailand's gecko species. Considered good luck, they are very territorial and will kill and eat mice, snakes, other geckos and will even kill or chase away rats, and love to eat Thailands giant centipedes so if you have one, give it space and let it make a home on your property. Tokay emit a very loud that can be mistaken for a bird or lemur. I have heard them many times, "Too Kay. Too Kay." If they bite you submerge them in water.

It's a Tokay Gecko (Gekko gekko) the OG of Geckos, hence it's Latin name.
