We'll See (a justin bieber love story) pt. 57

hey guys this has been an unusually long delay i know! just a lot of work to catch up on since i missed school last monday through thursday! plus the school play is coming up soon so i've been throwing myself into my lines and practicing lately. well anyways, heres part 57!

"wake up, wake up!" an urgent whisper encourages me.
i slowly open my eyes to see an elderly man with an out of place looking serious expression.
"teddy?" i mutter, sounding very confused.
"dont ask questions, just move." he says.
"justin."i demand.
"not a hair on his head harmed." teddy steps aside to reveal a dark figure. i dart towards that dark figure like my life depended on it. he catches me in his arms and for a second we just stay there, not moving, stuck in time. the moment is so powerful and so real. i didnt lose him. he's right here. im holding him and i never have to let him go. well, hypothetically. i do keep an arm around him as teddy guides us swiftly to the door we had been on our way to check before the incident. he swings the door right open as if he knew the whole time it was unlocked and shuffles us out. very conveniently, theres a car waiting for us right outside.
"get in!" he whispers urgently. we do as we're told. teddy gets in the drivers side while justin and i take the back. he floors it. we dont talk at all during the drive home, mostly because teddys so concentrated on his driving that both of us were scared to try to start up a conversation, even though theres so much i want to ask him. for instance, how did he know where we were or that we were in trouble? and the way he seemed to just know that the door would work...
"do you want to be dropped off individually,or should i just drop you both off at Brianna's house?" teddy asks.
"oh no, your not doing that to us. take us to my house, but you're coming in too. you're going to explain everything to us.please, dont leave us hanging like this." i beg.
teddy sighs."i guess i do owe you an explanation." he admits.
"thank you." i say in a relieved sigh.
"well, we're here." he announces. justin takes a deep breath and i close my eyes, trying to calm my now on edge nerves. after about a minute of silence, im the first to muster enough courage to get out of the car. teddy and justin follow right away and we head towards the house, extremely happy to be home but also extremely reluctant and nervous to face our parents for a second time after an unplanned "extended vacation." well, no turning back now. i take justins hand and squeeze it, then hook arms with teddy and march my way to the front door. i ring the doorbell and try my best to be brave. seconds pass before the door swings open and my mother stands before me, looking like she hasnt slept in days and completely drained of all emotion.
"hey. mom?"

turns out justins mom and dad were both already there. they had sent out the police, search parties, anything they could think of that might bring us back safely.
"we were so scared that this was going to be a repeat of what happened a few months ago." my mom says, tearing up. i go over to hug her.
"its ok mom. it didnt. we're both fine, see?" i try to comfort her.
"oh, i know that now. after you explained what happened, i can see that."
teddy had explained everything and what he said was definitely not what i was expecting. apparently, teddys son wasnt dead, he just ran away when he was 18. he had been hanging out with the wrong crowd and just up and left one day and never came back. teddy couldnt bare to tell people he ran away to hang with a bunch of drug dealers and hitmen so he just told people he died in a car crash. i think you can guess who his son was in this equation. teddy was suspicious as soon as he found out we went missing again and asked a bunch of his "friends" where he could be found and that led him to the building where we were. he went up to "talk" with his son and while he was out, hacked his computer. he found a layout of where all the traps were and everything he needed to know about the security system. he also saw the surveillance cameras and thats how he knew exactly where we were and which door would lead them out. this guys a genius if you ask me and totally deserves a spot on the CIA or FBI or something.

hmm... WOW. well at least they're all home safe and brianna and justin are happy as ever together... or are they? could all this drama have put an invisible strain on their relationship? or are they happy and fine and im just trying to freak you out? eh, guess you'll have to find out...
