This is the unbelievably tragic story of our 9-month-old baby who came down with a basic ear infection and was prescribed a very common antibiotic called "Amoxicillin".

One month later, he passed away under the care of supposedly one of the best liver transplant facilities in the country having suffered acute liver failure. Thanks to massive failures from our medical insurance and health system, lack of available organ donations and severe miscalculations by his medical staff, Wyatt passed away while being wheeled into the operating room and unfortunately, never had a chance for his life-saving transplant.

Hopefully Wyatt's Story can help raise awareness regarding these issues and failures. Please visit www.wyattsleamonadestand.com for more information about him and his story and coming soon, we'll be launching the Wyatt Leamon Foundation website at www.wyattleamonfoundation.org, so stay tuned!

Godspeed Little "Pie Man", we love and miss you!

  • Hello MBF, good for you on looking for alternatives to ear infections. I would try chiropractic care and a product called "Sovereign Silver" (found in natural / health stores) which you can drop right into the ear. That combo has worked like a charm for us for Wyatt's brothers. Wyatt's reaction was definitely caused from the AB's and its so unnecessary to prescribe them for an ear infection (something we found out after the fact) which is what makes this so tragic.

    Good luck!

  • Hi all, just in case you haven't been to his website, simply Google "Wyatt Leamon Foundation" and you'll get our memorial site (Wyatt's Leamonade Stand), his Facebook fan page and more. We will soon launch the new foundation website which will be full of information about ear infections, alternatives to drugs, organ donation and much more.

Thanks for all of your support!

  • Just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to all of you who comment and are touched by our story. Unfortunately, due to the way the medical industry is protected by our government and with doctors protecting doctors, our lawsuit went nowhere. So now we fight the battle on a different front and are starting a foundation in Wyatt's honor. Look us up on Facebook and watch for a brand-new website which is coming soon!

    Thanks!

  • Thanks to all of you, we continue to hope that Wyatt's story helps others! Please become an organ donor and if your children come down with an ear infection, consider chiropractic or other wellness methods!

    We love you Pie Man!

The flowers grow a plenty, ...For it is never cold, The bluebells really chime, And the buttercups shine gold. The trees rustle in a gentle breeze, The rose casts it scent wide, The air is filled with music, An amazing joy to abide, A home truly fit for an Angel, That is where they are you know, Our beautiful darling babies, Beyond that bright rainbow.
