Using a Vintage V100 ICON "lemon drop" guitar straight to the amp.

  • Very good VH tone. What are your amp settings?

  • Thank you. Well it was channel 1 and you can see where the knobs were positioned in the video but you can't see that I had the modern button off and the scoop button on. Also, the voice controls were active.

  • hey i have the same amp and love it,try sticking a delay pedal in the preamp section it works better than the effects loop, you sound great

  • will do. I have been using a POD for delays (not in this video) but will get a real delay pedal eventually.

  • Great VH tone. I just got this amp (90w) and tried it and sounded awesome. This amp rocks for tone...loud too...

  • the sound is good, really, but imho that's not VH :/

  • Dude .. can you post up your setting for this tone ......... it sounds STELLAR to me.

    Thx

  • I've got this amp as well, and I'm telling you that it is Canada's best kept secret! I've had it for two years and I'm still discovering new sounds. And one more thing...it's built like a brick sh!t house. This thing is a piece of Marshall, Fender and Mesa....all wrapped up in one bullet proof chassis.

  • Hmm. i could have sworn they were handwired. But they are still all tube and that certainly makes all the difference in the world.

  • They are not hand wired but that doesn't mean anything. If you like the Fender Twin reverb, it has the same reverb tank. You can also put other reverb tanks in.

  • I got mine! Mainly for the 15 Wt mode for playing early Brit invasion style. But the Distortion channel ranks right up there with the Marshall and the Mesas. I can't seem to convince the uniniated to this fact. But there are many here on YT that are proving my point. And it costs 1/2 the price of those amps! All tube and handwired to boot. It's only limitation is that it can't quite match the Reverb of the Fender Twin, but then no other amp can either.
