I still don't really get how cosmoline can make it stuck. It's like Vaseline it shouldn't get stuck right,? But I fired 20 shots and the bolt was decent in the resistance it have me but after when I cleaned it. That's when it got stuck.

i had an m44 that i sold, i had to use a mallet to get the bolt up, and back. im gettin a 91/30 in a week er so.merry christmas, and a drunken new year.

Thanks, did this with my rifle. When it was fired I had to use all my strength to bring the bolt up, tried this and now it's really smooth.

Lol i saw a video using a drill and some cleaning patches. I still have to find a way to do it as for I dont have a steamer

I steamed the crap out of mine but it almost feels worse than before. What did I do wrong?

i have the same problem happening with mine. after every round, i have to smack the bolt 3-4 times up and smack it once back. i dont see any cosmoline in the chamber, could cosmoline inside the bolt be an issue with the sticky bolt?
which scope mount are you using on the nagant?
