1/25 Ecto 1A w/ Flashing Lights

Ghostbusters Ecto 1A 1/25 scale model with flashing lights. Uses thirteen 3mm 3-5v DC LEDs with integrated circuitry. Once Painted it took about an hour to wire everything together and assemble the vehicle.

Used Testor's White Gloss with an airbrush. Finished with Testor's High Gloss Clear Coat.

how do you want to build this digital message board?

I plan on just making the boards flash back and forth from word to word. Though I'd like to make them look more realistic by using smd's.

Actually I do plan to do these things, first is the digital message boards on the sides of the vehicle and the arrow stick on the rear of the vehicle.

Thats pretty cool.. Im working on building my except im also gonna remove the whelen strobe bar that is painted and replace it with one fromPOLICELIGHTBARMODELS so that all the lightbars will flash

Where can you buy those LED's, at a hobby store? I would love to hook my RGB Ecto-1 with them. I used to have battery operated Christmas lights, but they shorted out.
