hey this is a cool video..........what do U run on this ranch...what are the helicopters used for..

i work on a ranch in alaska with helicopters and am just curious

The helicopters are used for wildlife surveying of the property. We have a management program with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department that requires us to make an attempt to estimate the total number of deer, the sex, and maturity. We lease the coppers solely for this purpose. Some ranches are using choppers for hunting wild hog because they have become such a problem on farmed land, we don't.
