Homemade Shake & Bake Parmesan Chicken Strip Recipe-
Items; 1 large freezer bag for shaking,
baking sheet,
med. bowl
1. 2 lbs. slightly frozen chicken breast halves boneless, slice cross-ways at slight angle across the grain
2. 4 Tbls. olive oil
3. 3 Tbls. melted butter or margarine
4. 1 1/2 cup crushed crackers & 3/4 cup Parmesan
5. paprika----------------1 tsp.
6. cayenne powder---------1/2 tsp.
7. dry parsley flakes-----2 tsp.
8. dry basil--------------1/2 tsp.
9. garlic powder----------1/2 tsp.
10.black pepper ----------3/4 tsp.
heat oven to 350
mix melted butter and olive oil in med. bowl
add items 4-10 to freezer bag, mix well
dip chicken strips, a few at a time in oil mix and then in dry mix to coat
transfer to baking sheet
place sheet in center of oven rack for 35 min.
use your nose;-) you'll know if they're burning, if they just smell like dirty socks, you're right on, that's just the Parmesan you smell-
serve with Ranch Mix dressing- baked potato, corn, peas, and cooked fresh carrots.

  • Try steaming veggies. It is quicker and retains more nutrients. Other than that the chicken looks amazing! I am going to try it using oats instead of crackers. I bet it taste great! Hope to see more videos soon!

  • @CLOWNBOT00 Thanks, hope you liked the chicken. I wish I could help you with the song title but I forgot what it was. I got it from youtube's AudioSwap and liked it. Thought I would be able to retrieve it later, but now I don't know how. Wish I had written it down.

    If I come up with it I'll add it to the film.;-)
