Long before she was Jenny Craig's newest spokesperson or the voice of Peter Griffin's boss on Family Guy, Carrie Fisher was Princess Lei in the first three released Star Wars films. In addition to her lengthy acting career (Shampoo, When Harry Met Sally, Hannah and Her Sisters, Sex and the City, Entourage) she is also an accomplished writer, having penned Postcards from the Edge and Wishful Drinking.

In part 2 of this 1986 interview, Brian talks to Carrie about George Lucas, acting with Geraldine Page on Broadway and Meryl Streep.

  • 7:43-7:51 agreed!

  • It's incredible how pretty and intelligent Carrie Fisher is. Both looks and brains...good genes I guess.

  • @suziescott2007 Ha, I would've given her Best Supporting for Drop Dead Fred.

Btw, she was still hot at 30.

  • She has the most beatiful eyes.

  • I deffinatly thing she has some actuing chops but she hasn't had the right circumstance to show them. I'm waiting for that perfect Carrie FIsher rol that will land her the Oscar.....
