  • this effects its called the invible palm man

  • Thanks for your comment. I've checked and found out that this effect is known both as Open Traveller and Invisible Palm, so I've changed the title thus.

Wow...who the **** do you think you are?

It boggles my mind that someone who goes by the name of "magichobbyist" would have the balls to criticize one of the greatest sleight of hand artists of the past century.

How can you say that the performance of a man who invented some of the greatest card and coin plots, and who also evolved some of the greatest handlings for existing plots, and who Vernon himself referred to as one of the greatest exponents of sleight of hand, is a struggle.

  • That was by far the best rub a dub vanish ive ever seen. Most people do it way too fast, but that was calm, relaxed and completely magical!

  • @chobmapagon

His version is called open travellers though...you were correct.

In my opinion, his version is still one of the best. Sure, you have to palm cards, but as long as it's done properly nobody will ever suspect it (like Erdnase said though, it's difficult). However, the palms do take place at a beautiful time psychologically, and if there's no palming involved, the packets have to come into contact with eachother, or there's some other type of compromise.

  • Wow, his hands look so natural with cards palmed, great effect but not the most economical, there have been far easier versons created without any loss in effect or fairness, but still just an amazing effect, and i would say larry jennings executes every sleight perfectly, where some guys do some sleights well but you cringe when they do others larry is very consistent.

  • This is from the classic magic of Larry Jennings

  • @felixbullot Yeah I know, but this video from where is? It's not from Thoughts on cards.

  • @BlackMagicCurse Thoughts on cards by larry jennings. It costs about 35 bucks.

    Great DVD.

  • Holy crap! I can't believe it pulls it off so cleanly. Took me three takes to finally catch on how he did it. And damn! To do that so confidently and openly... Wow!

  • and yeah, from which DVD is this, if somebody knows?

  • @chobmapagon both of you are right, but that guy has very limited experience, so he is wrong.

  • Wow, a classic performance by Larry Jennings!

  • @TheSkyBein You married his daughter?!?
