I found one of your notes in the Barnes & Noble on Kendall Dr, near the turnpike. I went there with my mom and was trying to explain nerdfighteria to her and the awesomeness of John Green. I was telling her that sometimes nerfighters put notes in books and she didn't really get it. Suddenly, I saw the display of TFiOS near the front of the store and I quickly grabbed one and lo and behold a nerdfighter note fell out! I googled Julian ItTakesII and your YT channel came up. What a small world!

I totally want to go to Barnes and Noble & my other local bookstore and leave a bunch of Nerdfighter notes. But arent you ever afraid of non awesome people crapping around w/ the notes and throwing them away?

@ItTakesII I have no clue where I'm headed this year. It mioght be California, it might be NYC/Boston, it might be Canada. But if it's Boston, it might also be California, because then it might be a double trip. Haha.
Yea, I'm still here. It's been eight years, and I'm still scared every single day.

@GK1237 well actually that's 3 copies of paper towns. i pre-ordered the book, but then it didn't come on the day of the release, so i went out and bought one and then i wanted the yellow cover (there are 2 hardcover covers of Paper Towns) so i bought another. i really like that book ... anyway, have fun leaving notes! -julian
I love this video. You've put everything about the books that I love into words and actions. You've made me want to do the same! You're awesome! DFTBA:)

@fayestardust Hello again! That's great, what are your thoughts on Looking for Alaska? That was the first of John's books that I read and in my opinion, it is brilliant! Ah, you are in the Netherlands, right? Bit of a stretch haha -Julian

@ItTakesII I have a tendency to visit the US whenever I can, though :P
But yea, I loved it, only it absolutely rattled me, too! But I think that's kind of the point. It's so honest about how you can think you know a person and how wrong you can be. It shook me up really bad because I went through a similar thing when I was 17. Not the losing someone part but the everyone else almost losing me part. Quite an emotional book for me.

@fayestardust Oh nice, you wouldn't happen to be attending VidCon this year, would you?
Yes, it's definitely a very emotional book as well, which is why a lot of people are comparing the themes with that of The Fault in Ours. John really loves reiterating the importance of imagining people complexly and it is an important thing to keep in mind when you meet people. There's always more to people than what they allow you to see. Sorry to hear you went through that, glad you're still here! -Julian
