I have approximately 200 college students coming to eastern KY to learn about coal mining and reclamation in March 2012. We will be planting trees on barren mine sites that were abandoned when the coal companies went bankrupt in the 1970'2. I would like to take them to see the best reclaimed mine sites in eastern KY (Harlan, Bell, Letcher or Knott Counties). Can you tell me where I can see some of these beautiful forested sites shown in the video? Please reply, thanks!

Can you give me driving directions to see some of the best reclaimed mine lands in KY and WV?
I have already seen Twisted Gun and Stonecrest, and the prisons. Im especially interested in seeing forests that are on post-SMCRA reclaimed land.
I have some tour groups coming through Appalachia this summer and want to show them what good mine reclamation looks like. Thanks
