  • This sounds like the Siedah Garrett version re-made AFTER N'Dea Davenport left the group...

  • JAY ELLA RUTH VOCALS,THE YEAR WAS1990

  • Do you have the Siedah Garrett version?

Because I do, and it sounds exactly the same.

  • I lovvvvee this song from bk in d 90s itz my happy song!

  • Love the sounds!!!! Cool Funky!!

  • The original singer of the Brand New Heavies was actually Linda Muriel. She wrote and recorded the first version of Dream Come True in 1988 with the Heavies. Released on the Trunk Funk album.

  • Someone give me the Ndea Davenport version please... pretty please...

  • I liked it,and she has a great voice.I just liked N'dea's vocals on this song a lot better though.

  • We need the DMC mix of this uploading onto here!! Think it was by Jimmy Gomez if my memory serves me rightly...

  • i remember those years it was in the early 90 's with all these group brand news, barry k , incognito great memories thank you for posting

  • sounds nothing siedah garrett...

  • Like I said, this version was re-recorded for this album:

    tr . im / AcidJazzYears

Since N'Dea had left the group, BNH re-recorded the vocal track using Siedah Garrett at the request of Simon. Notice how she replaced N'Dea's "I've been through a string of affairs" lyric with her own: "I've been living life on my own", as to reflect more positively on her own character. Simon recorded/added an additional guitar track to the master.

Jay Ella Ru im th's version is here:

    tr . im / OriginalFlava
