@milind006 It may be a poor way to argue (I think it is) but it's self evidently not racist. Loads of people (myself included) own kufiyehs either because they are Muslims themselves, or because they've lived in Arab countries. Owning or wearing a kufiyeh hardly constitutes membership in any ethnic or racial group any more than does owning or wearing a pair of Jordans.

It's like attacking the view point of Hitler by making fun of his neck-tie by calling it a noose. As wearing a neck-tie is part of the dressing style in the west, so is the wearing of kilt in Scotland, so is covering the head with the checkered piece of cloth in the middle east.
