Thanks mate, I got to go on there :) very happy, though she is a bit bumpy at 140mph where the tow runways intersect .........

Hello There, Is it possible to hire the air strip for an hour? I E-Mailed the gippy aero club on it, if you could help me out that would be very much appreciated. It would be awesome to use this as its on my doorstep V's driving to leongatha to hire their strip.

I guess it depends what you intend to do with the airstrip. This is a listed GA and RA aerodrome and is available to all aircraft flying in and through Bairnsdale. The East Gippsland Shire are the owners and enquiries about other uses can be directed to them on 03 5153 9500. There is a drag stip near the airport for motor sports. Hope this helps.

Nice Vid. Didn't know our airport had what looks like a new runway? Thought we had gravel, or concrete, not bitumen.
