JPJ one my favorite bass players that didn't always slap bass. I was just thinking of his bass lines from "the crunge". The way he creatively harmonizes lines with Pages guitar while giving foundation to Bonhams solid drumming it what made Zeppelin so good plus not to forget the keyboards and other stringed instruments he played. Just plant Plant in there with a mic with some stage presence and thats the formula to a super band.

An incredibly underrated musician. Plays an incredible bass, plays guitar, plays keys and synthesizers, is a top notch arranger and producer and a great songwriter.
What else can you want from a band member?

JPJ is one of the best and the most underrated bassist ever, hail great member of Mighty Zeppelin !

Sounds cliché but yeah, I think John Paul Jones is the reason that I picked up the bass. Led Zeppelin is truly the greatest band of all time.

I love, love, love the fact that Jonezy is finally back at the helm in a band. His sounds are too good to hang up and have him go into just being a producer or anything of the sort. If we could have him and James Page in a band then more power to him lol. But just Jonezy works :). A great man, a great musician.
