@moovienutt you're a goose. A band doesnt have to have that 70s cali hardcore punk sound to be true punk. All the bands you mentioned fall into just one small niche of punk music. Sounds like you need to listen to a whole lot more punk bands of different styles before you start making stupid comments.

Wow. I saw this coming. A great band covers a legendary band, and all the "troo punx" get their panties in a wad because they didn't make an exact copy of the original. I thought punk was about originality? You know who else did? The motherfucking Clash. In my opinion, this is an extremely ballsy move by a young band. I mean, if you cover The Clash, you're just asking to be shit upon by the elitists. Yet they did it anyways. That's pretty punk to me.

there not that bad i wouldnt call it punk rock tho more like alternative rock
-
@violesswar lol overproduction? the clash had more people fucking with their stuff in the studio than these guys.
-
well, while the clash won the superbowl with this song these guys here rather play college football. nevertheless i kinda like it, except the we-have-to-lick-some-mainstrea
m-balls overproduction of course. -
@llanbo because thats how he sings.....
-
3:50 best part :D
-
@moovienutt i thought Punk-rock speaking about open our mind and other things ... But not for all it seems
-
And this isnt punk and if this considered punk then wow u guys need to listen to the germs , fear, black flag, and bad brains that true punk not this shit
-
To at patb20civic I'm from the town where these guys r from I think theynr shit and far from punk now then what they used to be and the lead singer Tom one of his favorite bands Was green day
-
why do people have to bring up a shit band(green day) when talking about a great band(the menzingers)??
-
@coolcatjerk i honestly listened to this multiple times, and i cant find any lisp, however i do hear the overproduced sound, and seeing these guys live is amazing
-
@ImAsMadAsHell I was talking about the comparisons between The Menzingers and Green Day ;).
-
@wucodu The Clash werent American. they were British
-
yet another good band I wouldn't have found if it wasn't for those $5 warped tour cds...
-
I can't hear any similarities besides them both being American punk bands.
-
i think what the guys talking about is the overproduced sound. Also that cunty lisp the singer has that makes him sound like he needs to clean out his vagina. I liked this anyway but to act like its not there is just dishonest
-
Nice tribute to Clash =)
-
@rainpouring It's completely natural to compare similarities between bands. and they do kinda have a similar sound like Green Day.
-
Why does everyone have to make a comment about people sounding like Green Day? One: leave the Green Day comments on the Green Day. Two: they don't sound like Green Day, open your ears you close minded ass
-
Why did the make the vocals sound like Green fucking Day?
-
@hockeyrocks5757 well said my friend well said :)

-

-

Agreed. I'm glad they didn't try to come off sounding like The Clash either.
