Edge debuted before 1998. In 1996, Adam Copeland was hired as a jobber for a match against Meng and went by the name Damon Striker. WCW considered hiring him but he quickly left because he thought it was the worst gimmick ever.

@w00x360 lol yeah thats the one, he was also in a tag team called the islanders years ago and tagged with Andre The Giant, its was later on in his life when he had the huge afro. WCW wanted to release him from his contract but they were to scared to do it because they were unsure how he would react to the news lol.

@w00x360 That someone is a wwe legend, Haku was an awesome wrestler, you should have seen him as Haku during his wwf days, he was one of the toughest guys ever in wrestling.
