The destruction caused by Philippine Typhoon "Milenyo" (International Name: Xangsane) spared little as it's winds caused the demise of a 40 year-old Mango tree. It was reported by the Philippine government and journalists that Typhoon Milenyo (Xangsane) had speeds of 130 to 160 mph. This according to some reports, this was not true as they exceeded at some point, 260 mph.
