Hi, what do you think 'bout this trem ? I would buy it but I'm afraid of making a mistake in purchasing, so can you tell me what do you think about this product ?
-
can you put a trem king in a guitar that has a floyd rose tremolo or a ibanez edge tremolo?
-
epic face

That is what makes trekking an awesome whammy , it is a fixed bridge , all of the tremlo action happens in the block , it's hard to explain but if you look up more demos I'm sure that one of them will explain it better :P

Does this tremolo rise up when you put new strings on it & try to tune it or does it stay in position? I have this problem when putting strings on my strat, especially if it involves different tunings & different gauges.

nice vid, i have the same guitar and also want to install a Tremking.
Could you tell me if the guitar needs a lot of routing to make this fit?
As far as i can see the cavity should be pretty much large enough escpecially for downbends.
-
what if you do double stops or bend with hitting open strings.. do they strings you aren't bending go flat? That has always driven me crazy on Floyd style trems
-
can the trem king do jeff beck style warbles

@damianhagger r u lefty?
Sorry for the delay in my reply. I think the TremKing is a great product, however it's not a conventional tremolo. It does not depress below zero like a floyd rose, so you have to be aware of that. However it does stay in tune and is a great expressive tool. Hope that helps!

I have heard that there is a subtle, but noticalvle resistance when you pass though the neutral positon ......Can you do subtle vibrato around a note....slighty up and slighty down.....without a clicking feeling ?

There is a definite neutral position, although there isn't really a "clicking" sound when you move into or out of it. I think it would make it hard to move seamlessly above and below it without it sounding a little awkward. Just my humble opinion! Thanks for checking it out!

Which model is this Trem King, The TK-1 or TK-3?

Hi - it's the TK-1. It required a little additional routing to get it in there, but stays nicely in tune.

Thanks, I've tried a Trem King and I thought it worked incredibly well although I haven't bought one yet. One more question, Has your Trem King ever broken any strings? I wasn't able to play the one for long.

Sorry for the delay in my reply, lol. 1 month late! No string breakage from the Trem King. I use Elixirs and they hold out pretty well.
