  • "The big difference between people is not between the rich and the poor, the good and the evil. The biggest of all differences between people is between those who have had pleasure in love and those who haven't."

Sweet bird op youth, with Paul Newman.

    What a line.

  • @shane13233

    I agree, a magnificent line.

  • Does anyone know which first movies in the sections for Charlton and Paul?

  • @ThePeterBluth

Charlton Heston: "The Greatest Show on Earth" (Cecil B. DeMille, 1952).

Paul Newman: I´ll look for it.

  • @Colgatus The Paul film is of course "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"... of course

  • @atlatin417

    Thanks.

  • i think i'm just morbid, but the in memoriams are ususally one of the best parts about award shows. They give us time to remember some of the true greats of the time, and to know just how much the contributions have made through their lifetime and what will continue to influence more to come.

  • @tall32guy lol I actually like her. Just a little joke, no harm meant.

  • @KarenKmJloB Jean Simmons died in 2010, she's in that year's in memoriam tribute.

  • no se si soy lo que la gente define como colgada prto where is jean simmons? cyd charusse sos lo mas!!!

  • @UCKABAH Wow that's sure nice. LOL

  • Queen Latifah sang this very well, I wanted to say. hehe

  • @RonnyUniverse They may have been clapping and the sound people might have been cutting it out to add to the experience; who knows? I personally prefer it w/o the constant applause with each person. It just feels more "right" and honoring to save all the applause until the end and watch quietly.

  • @Randomness7171 I agree! They *are* the best part. They remind us of how beautiful (outside AND inside) and talented they were and how much they affected us with their lives and performances. It is a tribute to pay our respects, like any other memorial, and is always touching therefore.

  • These used to be so fun and heart warming to watch, until the last few years. Now nobody cheers or claps except at the end. I think its better TV & just better when the audience reacts to each individual. This isn't Russia so let the audience clap and cheer louder for who they want to
