  • I grew up in a house built in 1789. We also had a well in our basement. We had a secret passage and room off the basement where slaves were hidden. It was a part of the underground railroad. Our house was built by a Quaker. Watching this video reminds me a lot of my old house. I hate to see neat old places like this left so derelict.

  • Great video

  • wow this is like a settlers type house. Imagine this was already very old when the cival war came around. Amazing home. Looks like that stepdown in the basement must have been the cold storage. What was that in the basement against the wall maybe two chairs?

  • lol @9:24 "BIG ASS BIRD! Yo, he is pissed!"

  • This house belonged to my ancestor. Woolman's where Quakers. I am directly related to them. But was born and raised in CA. My parents left the easy coast in 1963. I gotta find these homes of my ancestors. Would be interesting to see what happens when I am in there.

  • that pretty crazy ... it looks kinda creepy though lol
