Humanity won't survive unless it learns to share the earth. The issue is simple when it is realized that the value of land, water, and all other natural resources is created by the community as a whole and not by private "owners". To share the earth all we have to do is share the community created value of the earth via taxation. Private owners can keep title but would than not be able to make the unearned profits that is the whole point of owning natural resources. Ownership of air next?

If everyone was to live like a North American we would need NINE planets. This means that the government of North America don't tax the wealthy people enough. We live in Societies of savage capitalism. And as communism isn't better capitalist is still not good. Why can't Americans find a middle. They live in big shit houses beside ghettos. They have more cars than babies and they consume like crazy. And then when they'll miss water they'll just go at war for some or steal from other countries.
