MrDiehard666, i believe the red baron was great but the nazis were a fascist group, the wermacht were just german's military, he didnt do anything wrong, he was just another guy fighting for his country.

its sad that richtofen never really got the fame he deserved just because people believe he fought on the wrong side. he was the most amazing fighter pilot to ever live.

i agree, the side is irrevlevant. i mean people always bunch the nazis and the wermacht into one. the nazis were a political party, the wermacht were just the army, the were conscripted, they had no choice. i am aware that this is ww1, but the same principles still stand. he was given orders and he did them well, nobody can dispute that

He didn´t get the fame he deserved? I'm pretty sure everybody knows the Red Baron. As a matter of fact, I think he may be the most well know fighter pilot in history.

he is, im not disputing that hes extremly well known. but its more infamy than fame that people seem to talk about him in.

Thouroughly enjoyed the film. Not 100% there, but at this point, i'm glad it was not flyboys and MvR was not like Darth Vader in a red TIE Advanced lol.
Europe does it better it seems....
