ATI Radeon HD 5750 - Overclocking Guide - Beyond 870 Mhz - pt1 of 2 was recorded for educational purposes. During this video tutorial that split into two parts, you will learn how to push your Ati Radeon 5750 to the MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE and get close to or equal performance of Radeon 5770, and save an extra 30-40 bucks on the game, instead of buying 5770. I will explain how to fool AMD driver and AMD Overdrive technology, so you can set the frequency for your Radeon 5750 GPU to 890-910Mhz.
I am running my Sapphire Radeon 5750 1gb GGDR5 regular edition on GPU: 890Mhz and memory: 1250Mhz for about a 6-7 month and no problems. My increased was 3-4fps in the games, that sometimes helps to get it quicker and performance equaled to Radeon 5770. I only paid 129.99 dollars with free shipping for my video card, and think this is the smartest investment for today(May-June 2010) , since all my games running on 30 and up avg fps on 1600x900(22inch monitor) with maxed out graphical settings.
Please rate my hard work, so more people can see it. Subscribe for my channel for more cool videos in the future.

  • Hey there! Could this be done with the 512MB GDDR5 version of the card aswell? Kind regards!

  • @TheNonConformative Yes it can. However I am not sure how fast your memory is. But do it by increasing the frequency 20 mhz and test it after 1150 mhz. Find your memory highest stable first and than go with gpu. Gpu frequency increase by 20 mhz as well.

  • Thanx for the tutorial! Awesome.Bu wil this have incopatibility problems with some programs?

  • @Raddww This tutorial will not give any issues - if you overclock your hard to stable. It applies to video card and none other programs. It applies when overclocking program is open. When you restart you pc - everything will go to stock. Thanks for watching.

  • what performance will i get if i overcloak my hd 5750 to maximum ? 1430 mhz memory clock and 870 mhz gpu clock?will it give me quite a boost in fps for gaming?

  • @danny29914 Yes, 2-4 fps of boost if your fps before overclock was 30 fps average. 6-10 fps if your fps was 60 fps average before overclocking.

    Thanks for watching.

  • @yosep801 That's because laptop graphic cards don't have fans -.-

  • @morozacademy I can't change my fan speed, why, I'm on laptop, ATI Radeon HD 4200

  • my card is stable at 870 mhz over that it heats up some times

  • HI

I also have the Radeon HD 5750. Could you tell me if you need another fan to overclock it? Because I have the fan from the graphics card, the own fan, but only that one. No extra fan... I really don't know what to do...
