I've never seen R of the Daleks, but I always thought that the clip on YouTube of Ace beating the Dalek with a baseball bat was awesome!

Agreed on the logo. I always think that this version of the logo is going to read "Doctor Snuggles"...

Fully agree with ya man. He was my favourite doctor as it happens. Plus Ace as his assistant was a top double act, and the writing was complex but genius.

Whenever he gets mentioned, people go on about the Happiness Patrol, and how Candyman was a ridiculous villain etc. and this was one of the "jump the shark" moments. But nobody seems to remember Ghostlight, Curse of Fenric or Greatest show in the Galaxy, which I thought were three brilliant stories.

Sly McCoy was definitely an underrated Doctor. Remembrance of the Daleks was a great episode, has one of the best cliffhangers in DW history (when he discovers that the Daleks can hover up stairs). Unfortunately by this point the show suffered from some bad writing - the Beeb was pretty clearly trying to pull the plug. But Candyman aside, great Doctor and a lot of great stories.
