Hmm... if that's the case, i suggest that we refrain from exploiting too much from customizing advance options of the converter like the Bit Rate, Frame Rate, Resolution and Frame Skip and Buffering as well. The ready-made set-ups should be able to resolve audio-video timing problems.

If I recall, those are all souls in your permanent soul section that you can turn off. Is this really a souless run?

Technically, yes, they're souls. But these abilities are de-facto standard moves for Castlevania games, whether they belong to vampires or vampire hunters.

Ricky22: I'm trying to beat Death on a minimum level run but can't manage it without using souls and items from my previous games (newgame+). Can you by any chance?

Death is IMO the toughest boss that you can ever fight, because you fight it at a very low level. What works for me is to have a lot of potions at hand. Hint: Obtaining the kicker skeleton's soul beforehand will give you a boost in avoiding the scythe attack.
