Arbore is around 50km/31miles from Turmi and the people were very pushy. The first village we stopped at didn't want us there. Henok (our guide) said they were all drunk. It was a little early in the morning but with their hard lives, can't blame them.

The second village was a little more welcoming. A first five minutes and we were out of there...

  • I would like to see how she would feel to see those people in her yard taking pictures of her and her family...Whites think that others are just on this earth to take pictures of them and exploid...terrible...Go back home bitch and take pictures of whites.

  • This is not only rude, arrogant, and ignorant, this incident is a clear example as to why indigenous and other folks that are the subject of inquiry do not like to welcome outsiders in their areas!

  • She's SO RUDE to them! They're so nice to her and she's so impolite. Gtfo.

  • bring gifts next time people; think about that

  • @kanakaken I didn't know that she rejected the photos for that. I did not understand it. She was video so video is a series of pictures so i didn't get why she was saying that.

I seen people ac this way. They don't support the very people who's country they are in.

I GIVE money to people if I am inclined to want to be in a picture with them. Always i give them money. Their unique beauty is really is precious. If I could do more, I would. But I do at least, consider them in this way.

  • @gonaive sorry- i agree. i was thinking the same thing. it's the way you do things that makes the different. if you are friends- you take a pic. But to just come, gawk- not so cool. I don't know how you would approach this at all though. There is a big contrast in living so it's all awkward, unless it was formal tourist stop.

  • @dbaile2 No! No! I don't want to go home to Africa! That's whats wrong there now too many people. Africa has been fucked, exploited, raped and is now on it's knees too ruined by the same greed they too would have shown the rest of the world had they the chance. No one is to blame. It's the human condition. We are savage beasts, each viciously wanting our share, or at least the chance for an easy life at someone else's expense. So, Hang on! it's not over yet!

  • that why white bitch they should turn her to house maid

  • Typical Jewish-American tourists. Shameful.

  • @flurtbug1 no one wants you in europe either

  • @travelswithsheila I'm quite sure the inference was sarcastic & not a warning at all. You spent a shit load of money to get to that village in order to exploit those people just so you could return home with your trophy photos & movies. You lied to those children when you said, "No photos". $50 dollars from your pocket would hardly have made a dent on your reservesb ut would have meant a whole lot to the village woman & kids. A typical UGLY American.

  • primitive pre-adamic people - mud people
