Good for you. You have some entry level, low cost equipment and instead of spending all you time dreaming of a custom Les Paul and a Marshall stack, you actually learned how to play. It sounds as good as anything else on here and better than most. The heavier strings sound really good. Most people don't practice enough to build up the ability to play them. Keep expanding your knowledge. I get stuck on scales myself. Listen all types of music - Jazz, Country, Latin, ect You'll get fresh ideas

@joeprod1 - I do dream of a Les Paul and Marshall stack, but until I win the lottery it will be just a dream. :) Thanks for the comments and the suggestions. I do what I can with what I got.
