oh man.. Prohibition, I've heard mix stories or anecdotal evidence on why it was a good and bad idea. As a Mexican American i cannot deny that if it wasn't for prohibition in the US, the mexican Drug Cartels would probably not be as big as they are today :(.

St. James Infirmary is the song that is playing! Everyone could have been confused because it was a Blues song before it was later adapted into a Jazz rendition. The closest version I could find of the version at the beginning of the video is the one here on Youtube of "King Oliver Jazz Band", but it IS more staccato than this video...just a warning! Good luck on your search for this video's version...but because of the trumpets' slurs, I'd be willing to bet it's a more modern adaptation!!!
