@Kra7as I usuaully think every instrument has its charm, saying that though there arnt that many instruments similar to dulcimers unlike cello, though a harp comes close.

This musical instrument is Persian/Iraqi. It's basically middle eastern so you can't really say Asia because when you say so people will immediately think of something like Japan or China.
Nevertheless, I love this instrument. It sounds so charming and catchy that I can't stop listening to it. I wonder why it isn't so popular worldwide. I think it deserves better reputation than the Cello and Shamisen.
