Wiikey 2 Installation (yellow sticker) (sped up)

My installation of my Wiikey 2 (yellow sticker) in my Nintendo Wii. I thought it looked cool, but i don't know how useful it would actually be. It's so fast that it's hard to tell what I did. Still shots of the finished job are at the end.

Works great. I haven't had any problems with anything I've tried on it, including an original, retail copy of SSBB. It's a GC2-DMS drive.

I'm not the greatest at this, but I did a pretty clean job. I just took it nice and easy. Ya know, to make sure everything went right.

If anyone has questions, or something, post, and i'll do my best to answer.

these chips are really cool i double moded my wii with the wiikey fusion and a drive key and they both work really well

double modded?? cool. I've heard of the drive key, since it's ridiculously easy to install, and pretty clever, but what's the wiikey fusion?

i have tried it on my wii model GC2-DMS but it won't work!!! when i put the mod i can't eject cds or insert cd!! and when i removed it the wii works fine!!

I have no idea.  I really don't know what to tell you. Just make sure that you have everything soldered in the right spots, i guess. Maybe you have a faulty chip, or something.

So, I bought one of these from a re-seller...I don't have the config disc or really understand what to do with it once I get it. I solder this in, burn a config disc, and run it from the disc channel? Then it loads the firmware for this or something?

it goes where the vent in the casing of the Wii is on the back. Just to keep dust from getting in through those slits, i suppose
