Galaxy S Phone Battery Life Fix / Solution-- FINALLY! Other Android phones too!!!

Save yourselves months and months of headaches!
The fix / solution to your Samsung Galaxy S phone battery drainage issue is to purchase an extended battery with 3500 mah (original mah is 1500). Don't forget to purchase the larger casing / door too as the original won't fit because of the size of the battery.

One note i forgot to mention: I drained my batteries to zero when i first got it. Then i charged it with my phone off for about 10 hours. These were the instructions and the first time i have followed them. Not sure if it really did anything or not.

best extended battery is a mugen power battery 3200,its about 100 bucks but it is much better then the chinese imports

I go through periods of quick battery drain to the battery lasting all day. Key to battery drain on ANY cellular device is quality of signal. If your phone is constantly having to find and connect to the network, then it is going to cook your battery, does your phone ever get hot? If you are in a WiFi area, connect to that, if not, turn off the radio in the phone until you need it. Extended batteries are great, they just prolong the agony of not having cell coverage.

turn off the data network mode, when you hold the power button on the side. helps a bit.
