CBS College Basketball Theme (2011 Remix)

The new CBS College Basketball theme that debuted during the 2011 tourney selection show. The composer is Trevor Rabin. This is only a rough cut that I assembled. It's a placeholder until cleaner versions can be found.

This theme was also used on the other networks (TNT, TBS, and truTV) during the tourney, as part of the alliance between CBS and Turner.

Ultimately I still think the old theme was better and catchier, but I do like what they did with this new one. The full orchestration and more tune variety are well done.

Really like the new theme and prefer the orechestation of this one actually more than the prior one. And since it is only used for the tournament, when you hear it you automatically identify it with March Madness.

That's the same composer, who composed the theme for the NBA on TNT.

I think this is the best theme since the 1st one in 1993-2003 Verison.

It's good, but liked the other two before better. This is too NBAish or Turner-ish.

I think they only use this version during the tournament because it's a joint production with Turner.

@excelsior27 My guess it's only for March Madness since Turner handles the production for that...and the fact this sounds pretty much like something Turner came up with.
