I know Gamzatti's the villain, but I can't help feeling sorry for her. She's a young woman who's genuinely in love with Solor, or at least the idea of being in love with him, and she's been treated as a Daddy's girl all her life, so she's probably using everything he used with her to get her way-she's trying to threaten, intimidate, or bribe Nikiya into giving up Solor-no wonder she goes to such extreme lengths when that fails-what else can she do?

wow, it's really weird to see the same Nunez from The Sleeping Beauty and La Fille Mal Gardèe, when she was so sweet, being such a badass as Gamzatti. so cold, and violent, thinking about every consequence that her next step will turn to before she takes it; doing everything she can do to get what she wants. it just chills me to the bone how she can change her personality, even her fisionomy, looking like a totally different person on stage. that just shows how awesome she is =D.

@Zolyushka95 Yes, poor misunderstood Gamzatti. After all, all she did was to kill Nikiya by hiding a poisonous snake in her flower basket... seriously, I don't feel sorry for her at all.

the best part of rojo's performance in this is at 3:16, her foot looks fantastic. other than that second, it's all nunez.
