Anal Glands (2): How to express them?

my poor dog has to have this done a few times a year, 1-2... however, recently she just had it done, but it seems as though she needs it done again already. It has only been about 2 weeks. Any information on how often this should be done, or if it comes back fairly quickly?

My Vet charged $45 for the visit and $22 to do this. For $67 dollars I will stick my finger in My own dogs butt, plus She is going crazy licking before this was done.

That was very unpleasant, but I definitely needed to watch it to learn and become informed... taking vet classes. My 2 dogs and cat aren't going to like me very much later tonight.

I'd rather deal with this disgusting procedure myself than pay £30 twice a year for my dog to be made comfortable by a vet. Just put on a gas mask and think of England.
