SNES The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare

The Simpsons, America's favorite 4 fingered yellow skin family.

For 19 years they have graced our TV screens, and naturyaly, virtualy every console system ever made from the NES up.

Bart's Nightmare was my first ever SNES american cart, and just like the name suggests, it's one crazy trip into a really psychotic version of Springfield.

I really love this level on the vid, Bartzilla. It was really funny to see people throwing Megadrives (Genesis US) at Bartzilla. Naturally on the Megadrive version, they throw out SNES instead, it was a fun detail when the 16 bit console wars were raging.

I still got this game it rocks the snes version has better sound quality and minor graphic improvements over the megadrive version.

This game is very hard to play first playthrough, the temple stage is impossible its a 1 hit instant death and no instant continues, I can never pass that stage.

Ah, neither could I but then I noticed that if you press "R" on the SNES joypad, the screen will scroll forward, and the baby Maggie statues will fire the arrows automaticly before youre on the stepign stone that activates them! Go try it out. :)

I will try it out but I have to use a emulator sadly I only own the megadrive version.

both versions look great.

I would laugh my butt off if I managed to beat this game without dieing XD

Ah, I don't think the Megadrive version allowed to do this! That would make that particular level nearly impossible, yes. =P

I agree. It is a hard game. Only level I could beat was the super hero and bartzilla. rest were hard as fuck.

I used to LOVE the sound that plays on the Bartzilla level when he is shrunk down to size, I would like to have it recorded on my phone

Yeah once you beat the game getting a A+ is easy. I used to be able to beat the game in less then a hour but I am and was a hardcore gamer.
