@xIBoLTx They are completely different. the Harman Kardon have ALOT more bass, if that's what your into. The Bose are based towards films and movies, hence the 5.1.
Anyways, i have both. Bose are INCREDIBLE for movies and games, truly awesome. But pretty average for a £300 music player. The Harman Kardon do a better job at dance, RnB and that type of music.
So, if you are buying for music. Get the HK. If you want for movies, games and clarity get the Bose...

TO CHILLAFRILLA: First of all, Bose meaks some pretty damn awsome speakers, me and my mom last year bought my dad the Bose Cinemate Series 2 G5 surround sound speakers for his birthday and they sound awsome, I was very impressed with the quality. Also, I turned them up to well passed half way and there was ABSOLYTELY no distortion, it was just clear, accurate sound. I'm with you on the base though, nice and lound and rich. I'm just saying that you should'nt hate on Bose too much. Write me back.
