Researchers from the Autonomous University of Mexico are trying to save this species only found in the wild in Mexico City's Lake Xochimilco. This salamander could be extinct in 8-10 years.

  • I believe the white one is wild, it's albino

  • I own 5 axolotle. so i hold a key in the species future-If i can sell the babies then the species survive

    They are all over the place, they have them in Japan, England, U.S., Spain, I own 5 myself. Its not impossible, but hard.

  • cmon,if you really try,you make a diffrence with those axolotls to near extinction,to least concern!
