Pakistan militants threaten NGO workers

For more than 6 years workers in the non - governmental organizations have been deterred from working by the militants. Many people including fresh graduated have been from working in the NGOs and those already working have been forced to quit their jobs. Few if any measures have been taken by the authority to ensure the safety and the right to work of these people resulting in an increase in unemployment and insecurity particularly in the tribal belt. It would be reckoned as breakthrough if the government takes legal action and collaborates with non government sector in preventing the vicious elements from deterring the public from working in organization of choice. In addition preserving the cultural diversity is also mainly left to the NGO sector and the government needs to collaborate with these organizations in securing the cultural heritage of particular areas.
