No matter how new and high tech those EMDs come, they always have that distinctive chugging. The GE's chug too, of course, but it's smoother, and less heaving (for lack of a better word).

Thats an awesome catch on the first train in the video. That seconded Dash-9 unit #739 was the first locomotive BNSF painted in the Heritage 2 paint scheme. The unit was also featured in a 1999 Pentrex production Runnin the Highline where the video featured a cab ride in that unit over the Gateway Sub in California.
