The Closed Road

We took the CLOSED ROAD as a short cut in far Northern Minnesota...BIG Mistake, but come along and see how much fun it is when you follow another carload of family members through a "Shoutcut"...in our old van.

LOL....looks a lot like the "Minimum Maintenance Roads" we seem to have all over the state (except in the Metro).

Where was this taken? Looks like some county road up north.

Ya, I know the video didnt capture the reality of it, we were dragging through soft dirt up past the axels, but we Got Er Done...lol

Nope, I havent been on that road yet...perhaps I should go there to film that one ha ha ha. Having a jeep is much better than the van I had at the time.

LOL, stuck in the Chippewa National Forest is not a good place to be. (locals don't enjoy intruders if you know what I mean) Glad you made it through.

naaa i dont think the axles lol...maybe up to the rim. The soft dirt is what will kill you though, gotta keep momentum up and youll be fine.
