I know one thing. The new school Detroit "jits" to Chicago music. What you guys call GhettoTech derived from House music. You wouldn't have GhettoTech without House. That's like saying the blues didn't inspire rock and roll. I think jittin is cool though.....no hate there.

1st of all jitters have their own history as far as detroit goes....,chitown has the 1st street dance to go professional which is locking!!!juking is more animated but jittin is more finessed to me..more ..jittin is more calm as far as the deamenor of the dancer....

@Spencernine No hate here either, but a big portion of house, ghetto tech, and acid base was produced in Detroit from the 80's and 90's. The jitting scene has fizzled some since then, where as in Chicago, footwork is relatively as popular as it was back then, that's why new school Detroiters turn to Chicago music as there's not as much Detroit shit being produced for jitting anymore...
