@dopafeind1 Exactly, I Just moved to SLC two months ago from Portland oregon, It was a big culture shock, i am originally from south Los Angeles born n raised, but in portland knowbody boasted about being hood and portland has got the hookers the murders the shooting and it's just a very dirty city and going from there to here where people that glorify hood life from what they see on T.V and they make it seem like a warzone when in fact SLC, ogden rosepark,glendale are the safest in the country

@olverafam Actually what you say is 100% correct. I've spent most of my life in cities with some of the the roughest hoods e.g. Memphis Tennessee, Miami Florida, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and others.

I did live in Salt Lake City for a while though and the reason white kids think hood is "cool" is because they get their information off MTV, BET, and You Tube and being gangsta is the only way little white youth can outcast themselves from the confines of Mormonism to the tough guy facade.
