shorter forwards but pretty much the same back...

@bluesteal0 Why? No one likes to downgrade. Like my boy Dimora said, MGW.

I'm assuming you're speaking of the hurst talking about the 05 up mustangs because I used to have a hurst in one of my old 89 GTs and was better than stock but nowhere near as good as the steeda triax in my old cobra or the pro 5.0 I have in my current 95 gt. I also drove a couple other cars with hursts and they just don't measure up to the latter two in my honest opinion...

i've owned 3 89 gts, a 97 cobra, and now a 95 gt with a 347 stroker and I've driven many cars from these to mach 1s to new edge saleens, etc but never driven an 05+. that being said it seems the stock shifter is already short handle-length wise (very different from the stangs I've driven where the stock shifter looks like a truck shifter compared to the short throws) however there is a noticable difference in shift throw length which is the main concern anyways. steeda has a good shifter...

MGW for the Win

Just like "knight" and day?
-
you should have gone with hurst. The difference between the tri-ax and the hurst shifter is like knight and day.
-
ther is a significant diference. I need one of those!
