Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, and Herb Jefferson Jnr did a Q&A on Friday night of the Supanove nerd convention in Perth, Western Australia. Here's a couple of questions that I though you, the internet, might find interesting. They don't sound bitter about the remake or anything (wink, wink). KIDDING! It was pretty awesome.

Stay tuned to this here channel for more Supanova goodness. If I filmed you at the con in a costume over the weekend you'll see yourself on one of my vids soon enough.

  • thanks for sharing it!

  • No problem. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • l remember the ol' BG and can say that l'm glad that the producers went in a different direction.

As sci-fi shows go, not only did l think that Trek was better, but also; Space1999, V, Dr..Who, even BuckRogers etc etc

Still it was great 2 see some of the old crew back 2gether. l do miss the original cylons. [ by your command ]

  • I loved the old BG as a kid and revisiting it was fun, but yeah. I like that the new one was different too. I probably would have enjoyed a continuation too though.

  • Hatch mentioned Farscape! ZOMG!

  • these guys are so funny!

  • @5916michelangelo.....Soon would be good, very soon.

  • @Laccodel.....I so agree, they missed a great opportunity bringing back the original cast (and some new ones) in a new series to continue the most popular series and concluded it. Could've even made it that Apollo and Sheba had a couple of kids, and Starbuck got Cassi pregnant right before he was inadvertently marooned on that desert planet.

  • Can't believe these guys found themselves in my country, and right on the ass end of it.

  • @hellointernet ....Using the original cast as a continuation would still have been a new series. It could never have the same feel as the late 70s and the special fx.

  • @Laccodel In 20 years, nobody will watch hardly anything made today.

  • Thanks for sharing this! I'm a big fan of the original BG. I still enjoy watching those episodes even though I've already watched them a million times! As for the new BG...I've only watched the episodes Richard Hatch is on, and to be true, this new series leaves me totally cold. So, I'l keep watching the original BG.

  • I agree 100% Dirk tells it like it is!

  • The original and best.

In 20 years nobody will watch the remake. It's like Dirk says: it's cold and nihilistic. It's watchable but you don't feel anything for the characters.
