First answer: 1-2 years ago.. ya, that was long time ago when i saw the video of the conference.
Second one: some Google employees are still using Windows with special permission for security testing etc. They will not release the Windows version of their apps without testing it first . But yes.. Linux and Macs are the only choises available for the employees at Google :)

But, i saw some of them using PC Laptops when doing a conference held by google. And they have to use PC to develop the Windows version of a software as well, just like the Windows version of Chrome or Google earth. :)
