Erm ... Merry Christmas?

I'll have you know that I was going to make something happy and cheerful for Christmas, either with cute, happy TV couples, or with cute, happy Christmas movies. Then the Misfits finale happened and I wasn't really feeling a cute, happy vibe. I had been working on and off on a Simon vid to this song, and after I saw the episode, I deconstructed most of it and made it into a Simon/Alisha video.

Really, my head is all confused. On one hand, it's this tragic, romantic ending for them, and that part feels sad, but kind of right. On the other hand, the plot holes the size of my arm (why can't he go back to right before she dies and take the box cutter away from the crazy chick? If he has to go back to make her fall in love with him, why not warn away the medium from the community center on that particular day, or leave present!Simon some kind of clue or warning or something?), the fact that Simon and Alisha had so little to do the last half of the season, that ridiculous Sally plot that wasted two thirds of the episode, and that they didn't wait until next season, when we were more attached to Rudy and maybe even Seth. I mean, they lost Robert, then they killed off the longest running, and the most awesome, probation worker, then they write off their epic couple/two of their more popular characters. That just seems like a bad idea to me.

Oh, and also? Simon and Alisha aren't in a time loop. Simon's in a time loop. His life goes back around on itself. Hers just went forward until it ended, just like anyone else's. So that's a thing.

Yeah, so basically much conflict. Which means much video making. I might even use them for my SYTYCV entry just because that's where my heads at now. Anyway, sorry for the ranting. Done now. Hope you enjoy the video!

What video editing software did you use? Because I've been looking for a while for a program that lets you do the effect that you have from 0:08 - 0:31, where there are multiple clips on screen at one time.

@purplepancake11 I used Sony Vegas Pro 8.0, although I'm saving up so hopefully I'll be using Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 soon.

@xxobrittanyg Thanks! Although I'd have been perfectly happy if they'd both loved each other and kept on living, but I'm also the only girl I know who doesn't like Romeo and Juliet, so there's that.

Why can't anybody leave this show with a happy ending? Simon was the character with the most  morality and he still was doomed to a tragic ending. I mean couldn't he change the future. This ending sucked.

@sweetiepie1019 Loop means no change. It's not perfect, and its not fair to either of them. But let's say things could be changed.Think of the lives they've lived. All the interconnecting parts.Remember how the little change Curtis made to his life almost killed everyone or how Fred caused the Nazi's to take over.Changing things doesn't always make them better. I'm happy with how happy they were with each other and their friends. Cause it isn't just their deaths that is repeated.
