A couple of things... Jegsy's not a scouser, he's from the Wirral. And this is actually called Grumpy Old Men, it was the album that was called  Wake Up.....

@MarkRevival scouse refers to the accent and dialect used not to where somone is from its appreciated though that people from the wirral do not like being reffered to as scouse however they are because of the dialect and slang used . and the only reason why i got the title wrong is because a friend of mine gave me a cd with this song on and thats what he puton the track list so apologies there

@vamp200 no offence, but the wirral accent is not scouse. the term scouse does refer to the liverpool accent and a type of accent in particular. the slang used is often quite different, i'm surprised as a jegsy fan you're not aware of that. i don't expect you intended to sound as though you were trying to educate me or 'put me right', though it did come across that way, but wrong by quite a way.

@MarkRevival i wasnt trying to be offensive at all mark im totally against all that keyboard warrior shit just my opinion and he sounds scouse to me so i put scouser up ive only been listening to jegsy for a few months now as like i said in a guy in work passed me his cd i was aware he was from the wirra but to me the accent sounds scouse sorry if any offense was caused

alot of his new stuff is very techno as opposed the the earlier folk stuff same thing with half man half biscuit really originall stuff was very punkish and now its all acousticy folk stuff but yer a tour with HMHB would be great

I remember this guy in the mid 80s with the sons of harry cross,very original but i'm not sure about this new stuff with the new band.Bring back the sons of harry cross and do a reunion tour with half man half biscuit.
